He's a self glorifying a-hole,this isn't the first dumb stunt he's pulled. And the sad thing is,he's just going to do it again in the future. He thinks he is so hot and amazing and that he can do and say what he wants but then again...who's stopping him? On tonight's incident though,it was completely uncalled for. I'm not a fan of either Beyonce or Taylor Swift but for real...Beyonce is good and all but she gets praised for breathing and has won an award at the VMA's before. Swift hasn't. This was her first time and Kanye completely f'd it up for her. I thought it was cool when Beyonce called her back up to do her speech, she's a classy woman.

Unprofessional doesn't even begin to describe it. I was on facebook at that time, and thought it was hilarious how everyone's statuses changed after that XD. I'm not a fan of either, but I agree Taylor Swift deserved it. You're at the MTV awards, ffs, it's what the younger set are into. I've always thought Kanye was a horrible waster ever since he compared himself to Jesus, wore a crown of thorns, and said that if the Bible was written today, he would be in it. Arrogance in its purest form. Just absolutely pathetic.

Kanye West is a pathetic, egostistical douchebag and I don't waste my time on him.
I did not see the VMAs, as I don't have cable, but I saw the story on the news. Beyonce won points with me. Classy move.

What I'm wondering is,...why do they keep letting him in? He pulls crap like this every awards ceremony. I'm propose that he is globally banned from any and all awards ceremonies until he undergoes complete medical/psychological treatment and/or an operation to remove his head from his own butt. Kanye has some catchy songs, but any talent he might have is overshadowed by his own narcissism. I like Taylor Swift because she seems like a down-to-earth girl who you could get along with. Her music is fine so long as it's not overplayed. And it's funny how even people who claim they are not fans are standing up in her defense. Beyonce I can go either way on. I mainly just like looking at her.
Things like this don't die easily in the Information Age, Allie. So, long as people have an opinion about something, and we have the technology to share it, you are going to hear about it.
I don't expect Swayze's death (which, I'm sorry to say, was inevitable) is going to get near as much coverage. Some celebrities die without much of a mention. Then you read about it in the Obituaries section of People magazine.

Miley does something outrageous every year. The racy Myspace photos in 06/07, the photos of her laying across her boyfriend in 2007, the 20 year old boyfriend last year and that photo shoot with her dad and the Asian thing (and possibly her "giving" a "present" to a JoBro this year.
It's a shame that hardly anyone talked about MJ's tribute seeing as he was the first African American artist to be played on MTV. (or how weird Lady Gaga is) But I still wonder...what if Taylor Swift had done the same thing...would people be making a big uproar about it and playing the race card?
