Local Sound

Is anyone into local bands/artists in your area? If so what/who? what kind of music is it? Would you recommend others to take a listen?



for example...I'm interested in a local singer/songwriter,Maggie Rose,I can't explain her music style really...not pop,not rock...but somewhere in between...

the sound quality kind of sucks but her resources are limited. Personally,I like the song "Who we used to be"
I've seen her perform a few times and she's pretty good.


So what local sound are you into?

The majority of local rocks bands in Memphis kind of suck. There were a few that were decent, but I've forgotten their names.
