This movie could go one of two ways,really good or really lame. It has a simple and risky title in the sense that it's simplicity could make or break it.
Cowboys and Aliens:A spaceship arrives in Arizona, 1873, to take over the Earth, starting with the Wild West region. A posse of cowboys and natives are all that stand in their way.

It's simple,but it worked,but I'm not sure if they were trying to take over the Earth so much as gathering resources on Earth. Not trying to give anything away to those who haven't seen it yet,but again this got its strength in its simplicity.
If Aliens legitimately came to Earth for any reason I don't think they'd flat out go for conquering it without finding a way to research and gather resources first.
Either way,this film was brilliant,Olivia Wilde played a stunning role in it along with Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig.
It was well executed without being too over the top the way people expected it to be.
If you haven't seen it yet,go see it.
