Sorry Celtic Cross, but it would probably be "Dada" because it's eaiser for kids to say than "Mama" in the early years. ( i go to a vo-tech school and my major is Early Childhood and we did talk about this). I know that we would all like it to be Mama but probably not. I know, this is one of the injustices in life. P.S.- Sorry to spoil your predictions!

I'm going to go completely out on a limb, here, and say her first word will be "Keavy". But she'll probably say it like "Kea'y" or "Keke".
Actually, it'll probably be something nonsensical like "baba". And even if she does say either "Mama" or "Dada", she's not really associating the words with her parents just yet. It's basically coincidental gibberish. She's still learning sounds.

can you predict Ceol first word! As Paul Gascoigne (ex-professional footballer in case anyone doesn't know) once said: "I've never made predictions and I never will".

My predictions were right though...and I'm not trying to be rude or anything...she'll probably try saying mommy's name which probaby turn out to be "Dele" LOL it's only a joke, don't take it seriously!
"Dude, you got Edele!" in reference to "Dude, you got a Dell!" HAHA

Um, actually, "mama" is an easy word for babies to say because when they are old enough, they start saying "ma" I know because I'm an aunt and I've always been around kids...
