It's just good. I don't like much current TV but this is a show I actually like. I wish I had a TARDIS.

That is so awesome.
I'd rather watch Dr. Who than some of the crap thats out now (16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom for example)

Oh please don't tell my boyfriend that, he would build a dalek too but i don't think that idea had come into his head yet, and heres to hoping it never does!
My dads been working in the studio where they film doctor who and torchwood and has seen the tardis, he told me this and expected me to congratulate him for being in the same room with the tardis and got very disappointed when i told him I wasnt that interested!

I like it, but, unfortunately because I don't get BBCA, I rarely see it (when they decide to show repeats once in a blue moon on Syfy). Most of my knowledge of Doctor Who episodes come from Tumblr Whovians. For me, the appeal is just the general weirdness, otherworldliness of the show. I like the "creep factor" of it. I tend to like programs that have something unique about them. The typical sitcom format bores me. Not that I don't watch some sitcoms, but very rarely, and usually only if the other person in the room already has it on. Television is, for me, an escape. I don't want to "relate" to what I'm watching, I want to be amazed. This is also why I despise so-called "reality" shows. I really don't give a rat's a** who wins X Factor. We're likely not going to hear much from them afterward, anyway. Then they'll wind up on Celebrity Rehab with a coke problem...
Oz, I swear I thought that said your ex-fiance build his own dalek out of a wheelchair. I didn't see the "uncle" part, and I was like, "wait, what?". ...Not that there's anything wrong with that. Hahaha.

She actually wasn't bad in it. To honest, I prefer Billie Piper the actress well over Billie Piper the teeny-bopper pop singer. (Same with Justin Timberlake. I'll see one of his movies-with the exception of Friends With Benefits-before I buy one of his albums.) In other, but still related news, I got a channel upgrade and now receive BBC America, among other channels, so I can catch some Who (when it's on and I'm not at work).
