So those of you who have the album, can anyone figure out the lyrics to the chorus of the Idea? If not post some funny suggestions to keep us all amused until I ask Keavy what the correct lyrics are  |

I was thinking today (a dangerous thing, I know ;D ) as there are no lyrics in the Album sleeve that maybe we could start a lyrics thread, either one thread for all songs or one for each ? We could pool our attempts to try and get a half decent attempt at each of them. What does everyone think ?

I came up with some good comedy lyrics for the idea "Let's all go to Ikea, will this help my career babe? I don't know, you decide, but don't go back in time" I was quite pleased with that effort & Hayley asked me to post the lyrics   ;D. I prefer the girls looking like that, you get a sense of who they are by the way they choose to dress, which you can't do when they dress as barbarellas in those wigs.

I agree except I reckon its not "love" but "of" so the line could be "Let go of the idea of yourself will ya babe" I think the song is about a guy with an over inflated ego so she's telling him to loose the self importance, I get the idea he already loves himself |

I think the song is about something different, but i haven't the foggiest clue a to what the lyrics actually are, I will find out I just keep forgetting to ask. As for your earlier post Oz, I thought I had replied to it but I must have dreamt it! I was thinking of writing out the lyrics until I realised that I am hopeless with it, I tend to sing along to what I think the words are and then find out it's completely different. I'll have a go at it and I'll ask you guys when im stuck and we'll come up with something.

I've got the album on repeat in the car so I'm slowly absorbing the words by osmosis lol there are still loads or words and even lines in almost all the songs that I just can't fathom, it's like the Indicipherable Lyrics (I'm pretty sure that's spelt well wrong !) they used to have on Never Mind The Buzzthingys years ago lol
I was thinking we could all have a go at some songs. I thought a thread for each song would mean we could comment and post alternatives without it getting all jumbled up in one thread ;D
Its funny how people interpret songs differently, I'm gonna have to listen to it again now and see if I'm being dumb (again lol)

Ok I've listened to it again ;D. When I first heard it I thought it might have been written by Keavy about her struggle with depression then I got swayed as I worked out more lyrics towards it being about coping with a difficult relationship. Now I'm just confused lol  |
