So the single is out April 11th, I saw the video in full last night at Wembley and its actually growing on me more and more since I first saw those clips from Louie Spences Show Business. The clothes are a little out there but the whole video kinda works and the more I here the song the more I like it. I cant even remember how Diet Coke used to sound now and the songs sounds even better live.
I realise the only people that can really comment on this is those that have seen the video at the concerts but what are your thoughts?

I've never saw the video, just only listened to the leak full track. I prefer Diet Coke.
Like I said, Night mode is like club remix version and bland, not catchy (like a robot song). For me, after I listened to Night mode there ain't nothing to remember, I almost forgot the track, like the song has only one tone (robot tone - sorry I don't know how to explain)
Diet coke still in my MP3 plyer (since they upload it on their myspace), but I've never thought to upload Night mode to my MP3 player
But I do still buy Night mode single, anyway, cos I luv Barbarellas!!

I think that because the original diet coke was so amazing, people probably feel a little disapointed with the end result. However saying that, the orignal wouldn't fit in with their new sound.
I don't know if releasing the Night Mode album right after the single is a good move atm. I think they should keep touring and doing festivals, release a third single, then release the album after that.
I don't live in the UK so not sure how much exposure they've had, but I think they should just work on building up the barbarellas name before bringing the album out.

so many threads!!! but like I said in another thread when I watched the video I wasn't a huge fan of the editing. The rapid cuts made me a little dizzy,but I do enjoy the song.
I'm a bit on the fence between this new version and the old version of Diet Coke. Haha,though wouldn't that give the coke company a pretty bad @$$ jingle to use for their product?

I think the video look, sorry to be so blunt, quite cheap, it's like the behind the scene video. I guess this cos of the bad editing (I like the costume, anyway)

That Louie Spences Showbusiness said it all, they were on a tight budget, but i dont think that director did them any favours.
Do you guys think I scared jamesyboy off, he hasnt been back in a while!

Well, sh*t. I like the new version. Actually, I may be the only one who prefers it to the original. Both are good, but I can actually understand what they're saying in this version.

makes me want vodka and diet coke...all the time...they should do a commercial for diet coke. That'd be pretty awesome. I know I've said that before,but for real,it would be win.
the new version has grown on me faster than the old one did,honestly,and I agree with erin that I can actually understand what they're saying this time around.
