Is it true that at first B witched plan to release Are You A Ghost as their second single from Awake and breathe instead of I shall be there and release Someday as their third single? PS.I found their interview in Smash hits magazine (very old issue, around Halloween day 1999) with the title "The B*witched project". At the end of interview, the mag said "They'll release their 2nd single Are you a ghost on October..." How come they release the flop I shall be there at the end? I think I shall be there is a beautiful song but bland, but I do like I shall be there, anyway!

I have no idea, I'd never heard that before. I did quite enjoy jesse and jump down though so I'm glad those others weren't released.

Wasn't a big fan of Jump Down. The lyrics were a bit nonsensical. The others, though, I liked.

It made no sense what so ever but the tune was catchy!

They did a webchat back in 2000 [around the release of jump down] and they said that Are You A Ghost was going to be the second Awake & Breathe but they changed their mind at the last minute. They said it wasn't commercial enough, and ended up going with I shall Be There.
They did say that they might save Are You A Ghost as the fourth single. But after jump down only made no.16 I don't think they were positive that any thing else from A&B would be a hit.
As for Someday, the sticker on Awake and breathe said 'featuring Jesse Hold On, Are You A Ghost and Someday' that people assumed that they would all be the future singles. And after Jesse was first and Edele said Are You A Ghost was originally planned as the second, then i think its saf to say that Someday was going to be the third.

And I think that if they had released Are You A Ghost and Someday were more B*W style than I Shall Be There and Jump Down and would've atleast made the top 10.

It is a catchy tune, I'll give you that. But, unfortunately, it doesn't excuse the Mother Goose-inspired lyrics.

It doesnt but i'll look the other way as its one of the only songs b*witched didnt write themselves. I used to love the spinny thing the dancers did with them in the video when i was younger.

Yeah Jump Down wasn't my favorite because of the lyrics...it was catchy if you ignored them but,honestly...it was hard not to.
