How would you feel/react if your significant other told you you could not be friends with your closest/best friend anymore because of a few things that made them mad? (i.e. jealous tendencies or whatever)

its a difficult one, its not a nice situation to be in, i think it would p**s most people off to be told that. i guess it depend on who you cared for more as to whether or not you listen though.

So far, 99.5% of people who I asked this question to said they would choose their best friend because guys/girls come and go, but friends last forever.
But this is happening to me and I'm afraid if I piss off my best friend's significant other again, he'll cut her from my life and she'll be on his side, despite the fact we've been knowing each other longer and we're like family and we're super close. My feelings are so hurt and I've been crying for nearly two days, as pitiful as that may sound.

Unless the guy knows something you don't about the friend, it's safe to say I'd pick the friend... I tend to like being my own person, anyway.
