Leading the NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) team that operates outside of the military chain of command is Special Agent Jethro Gibbs, a highly skilled investigator and interrogator who is smart, tough and willing to bend the rules to get the job done. Working under Gibbs is Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo, a former homicide detective who joined NCIS just a few years ago but who has instincts that come only from working on the streets. Joining them are Agent Caitlin Todd, a tough former Secret Service agent who's gone head-to-head with Gibbs in the past, and forensics specialist Abby Sciuto, a gifted scientist whose dark wit matches her goth-style hair and clothes. Assisting the team is medical examiner Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard, who knows it all because he's seen it all. Okay, rephrase that last sentence again, please. I'm a bit confused.
And I have to say, I prefer Ziva over Caitlin. Maybe because it's a darker character.

And this is one of those spin offs that's better than the original, Kat.
There was just something missing from JAG... yet NCIS has it!
And will Timothy and Abby get permanently together already!!

I know...I think the producers are going to write something stupid now because I read for the 6th Season on wikipedia that after Director Jennifer Shepherd, the new Director disbanded Gibbs' team and will assign new members |

They can't split Tony & Ziva up... and Tim & Gibbs... I so need to catch up on my NCIS - I have three seasons on DVD so far.

Watched new ep last night... Abby & Tim had linked arms... (yay) but that lawyer girl who was working under Gibbs for the episode seemed dodgy - as did the other two.
We're getting it "Fast Tracked" straight from you guys (USA)... it's the latest thing for our free-to-air networks to do.
So we apparently see it, like, two days after you... well, technically it's one & X amount of hours...
