she's been compared to Amy Winehouse, and as much as I think it's unfair to compare new artists, her songs are quite similar.

Chasing Pavements is good, but so are Right as Rain and Crazy For You, the latter being my favorite...

For those of you who have heard, do you like or dislike?

Dude, I've seen that Chasing Pavements video, like, hundreds of times. It's not bad. I wouldn't rush out to by the album, but I also wouldn't chase the channel when the video comes on, either, you know what I'm saying.

When she says her name, it sounds like "Adoe". Really, I thought her name was Adoe until I saw the video. "Oh, it's Adele!"

my mom can't stand any of her music, but she likes amy winehouse
that's just puzzling to me. They both have good voices though, if you compare...

I'm the opposite of your mother. I don't care much for Amy Winehouse. I do like Duffy, but that song gets a bit repetitious. "Okay, okay, he's got you 'begging him for mercy', we get it. Talk about something else".
