Feels good to get back on again, been on cargo runs again this time as the load master. all didnt go so well though the was heading to a meeting with about 8 other fellas and we were ambushed well wouldnt quite say ambushed but took heavy fire ............ Took a bullet this time in the chest went through my lung. Been in the hospital for about 3 weeks and just got home tonight. wasnt the only one though 2 more boys got it worse and I got a fealing one isnt going to live, took a good shot to the neck, and they think it hit the nerve stem on its exit. But all in all looks like I wont be going back. this took me out for good, at least I can still work here.

yeah They should, but most of the time flying a cargo plane you really don't think much about getting shot at, never thought it would happen on the ground though, guess i was in the wrong place at the wrong time. and the fella that was shot in the neck blew us out the water, that lucky SOB actually recovered missed all major organs and the nerve stem by 8 cm, he's going to be in the hospital for another month less till he can get back on his feet. never saw that coming I though for sure he was going to die.
