the version with Leonardo Dicaprio,I really loved this film,it was almost as good as the book. What do you guys think of it? I'm watching it right now and I just thought I'd see who else liked it/disliked it,the whys and whynots etc...

I saw it when it hit the theaters. It was okay. That was back when DiCaprio was a big deal, and I think I was sick of him by then. Don't go see many movies with him in them now. My mother loves that line, "I wear the mask, the mask does not wear me."

I did that as a scene in my acting class...good times...I'm not too crazy for dicaprio either,he always seemed to over act which got really old really fast...

I never understood the whole Leo thing... that could be because I was like 6, but you know... even now, I don't get it. I never got to see that version of the movie. There's a really old version that I had to watch in English about 3 weeks ago, actually. I think I fell asleep through most of it, lol. But it was the same concept. They had that line and all ^^ I thought it was really kind of sadistic... melting a huge chunk of iron on someone's head... But maybe that's just me.

yeah it was pretty sick...the only reason Louis did it was because he wanted to make it so no one saw Philippe's face. I never understood the Leo thing...he was cute for a while but then...I dunno...whatever...
