NBZ are an R & B group - that's proper R & B: guitar, bass, drums, harmonica, and vocals; not the sort of garbage that gets called R & B today.
I went to see them on Saturday. They never got the success they (in my opinion) deserved: just one hit in the early 80s. They tour virtually all year these days playing in small venues. I'm not sure how many times I've seen them but they're still a great group to see live - especially as they play small venues.
My friend remarked that there was no one young there. That's a shame, but understandable as most young people won't have heard of them as their only hit was a long time ago. My daughter's been to see them, but she couldn't come on Saturday as she's at university.
