they should have left it as it was before. What if lil kids who just got to know the girls go into that page and see girls with their tits hanging out! if they wanted to make a porn site they should have made a new one not taken over another one.

That's awful. They sold the domain name... the worst part is, there's nothing anyone can do about it... not us, the ladies, or even Sony at this point. |

sad isn't it =[ before paulmccartney.com became his official site, I went to it one day and it was a porn site and needless to say I was quite shocked :/

it's not right for whoever owns the legal rights to these domain names (usually the record companies in the case of celebrities) to sell them to others after they don't want it anymore for whatever reason (i.e. B*Witched being dropped) because it's still the name of the band. I can't believe PaulMcCartney.com would be a smut site at one point too... they shouldn't let that happen. Domain names need to have something to do with the content of the site.

its not that the record companies sell the domain names to other people its just they pay to have it for a certain amount of time and if they have no use for it when the contract ends then they dont renew it and then anyone who wants it can get it. its just sad that x rated sites want it coz they know people will visit it thinking its something else.

yeah like when I was about 9 years old, if you searched for the White House, an X Rated site would come up. And recently, I mistyped "Google.com" , and luckily I was at school and it was blocked, but it was a bad site...

Yes. Because when I think "B*witched", I think "gratuitous sex".  I once saw pictures of B*witched on a porn site. Mind you, this was an actual porn site (don't ask me why I was looking at a porn site, it's a long story). Why there were pictures of B*witched, I do not know. Nothing was doctored or photoshopped. Just concert photos. On a porn site. It was odd. |
