I hope you have a good holiday, Hayley.
Personally, I'd always choose boat over plane, and not because of price. Sailing is just a more pleasant experience: I can have a beer without someone telling me about the effect alcohol has on my body at this altitude, I can get up and go for a walk without someone telling me to go back to my seat and put my seatbelt on. And the food's better on ferries too! I'm sure the food served on planes would be illegal for farm animals on the ground.
Whereabouts in Ireland are you going? You've seen my myspace photo haven't you? You're on my friends list. It's a photo of me holding John Entwistle's bass guitar in the Hard Rock Cafe, Dublin. We're off to Scandinavia in just over a week's time, so we're deciding which city's Hard Rock Cafe to go to. We're sailing, naturally.
To return to your question: sorry, no, I can't recommend any car games! Has your mobile phone got any games on it?

Slug Bug. Everytime you see a Volkswagon Beetle, slap, punch, or poke the person next to you (the VW has to be on their side of the car, as well)*. Or the license plate game, which is similiar, actually. Although, that may only work in the US, because the object is to find out-of-state plates...and slap, punch, or poke the person next to you. Wow, these suggestions are violent... Okay, something less painful,...
Ah, you proabably won't see this until you get to the computer again. Do they even have VW Beetles over there?
*in the arm or leg, not the face...

Oh, dear. What have I started...?
My oldest sister is brutal at those games. "Slug Bug!:" *SMACK!* By the end of it, I swear my thighs are tingling. From pain.
