Ive put live chat on the forum so you can talk to other members of the forum when they are online, just login chat with your exisitng forum username.
It is a private chat room so only members on this forum can access it so you dont have to worry about talking to some strange person on it.
The same rules apply on live chat as they do on the forum
DO NOT give out any personal information
DO NOT use live chat for anything considered illegal
DO NOT bully or offend anyone

The chat feature is quite good, the only problem is that every time I login there is nobody there but me and I have to talk to myself!
Perhaps you could nominate a time when we should meet up in the chat room. I dunno, say 20:00 GMT on Wednesday, for example. You could also put a post to this effect on this thread.

That would be about 4 A.M. in the Pacific time zone, where I am. Basically anywhere in the U.K. or Ireland, subtract 8 hours and that's what time it is over here on the west coast of the U.S.

You got your maths wrong! :-) 20:00 GMT is 8pm UK time, so 8 hours before this is 12:00 (midday) in Los Angeles.
So if we have our chat at 8pm GMT on Wednesday that means it will be:
8pm - London
midday - Los Angeles
3pm - New York
5am - Sydney
If there are any Aussies who would like to chat, we could postpone our chat by a couple of hours.
I will try to remember to be there on Wednesday. It would be nice if some of you like Hayley, cables, Chris, Richard etc could be there cos you all sound nice.

I forgot to mention that it will be 1 hour later in Rome (for the Italians among you). A more complete list of the proposed chat time is here:
8pm - London
9pm - Rome
midday - Los Angeles
3pm - New York
1am - Hong Kong, Perth (Australia)
5am - Sydney

And maths have never been my strength! LOL For a second I thought maybe I'd be in school at that time, but we get out early on that day, so I'll be on! Yay! Might be a few minutes late, but anyway... I hope the time works out for everyone. That'd be so cool! |
