Any fans of the late Laura Branigan here? An amazing singer - depending which source you believe her vocal range covered either four or five octaves. She did a wide range of music, covering rock, pop, AOR, and disco. Her last CD "Remember Me", released posthumously |(hence the tacky title) is disco and (in my opinion) awful. To a rock fan like me, songs like Gloria and Self Control stand out as being brilliant.

Self Control was perfect on the GTA:Vice City soundtrack. One of my favourite bands Pulp basically ripped off Gloria for Disco 2000 as well
pretty sad that she died at a fairly young age

On second thoughts it might be better to type Laura Branigan in youtube rather than visiting the website. You might get drawn into the discussion board. It isn't a friendly board like this one. Last time I read it I thought I'd stumbled into a war zone!

laura Branigan did a brilliant 80's song called "Hot Night" for the Ghostbusters 1 Movie Soundtrack It's a great song, I'll try & find it for you to listen to!
