Currently, "Godless" by Dan Barker. Just started it, so, no opinions formed yet.

I've been reading a lot of screenplays lately...one in particular that a friend of mine wrote "Damaged" is a decent one for a short, but it needs more to it if she wants to make it a feature.

Currently reading Shane Lynch's The Chancer book. I was curious. I don't know much about the guy. I'm about mid-way through it. It's not too bad, though it's a bit slow in some places, particularly the middle. May give a proper review of it when I'm done.
Also, still reading Godless (set it aside because the pace of Shane's book is a bit quicker, with the small exception of the middle, and I can read through it faster) and currently got Carl Sagan and Ann Druyan's Shadows Of Forgotten Ancestors and Michael Sherman's Why People Believe Weird Things. Reading those next.

I'm about half way through "The Thin Executioner" it's not bad,it reminds me of "Siddhartha" in a few ways. It's very dark though, good but dark. There's a whole concept of death in here that I want to shadow a bit in my own writing. Erin, when did Shane come out with a book? Is it something more recent or has it been out a while?

Copyright says 2008, so it's been out for a few years.

It's not bad. It's not great, but it's not terrible.

Is that really a thing, Allie? Please tell me that's really a thing.
It sounds like a satire, if it is.

I wish! I was just being funny.
Can you imagine the book sales if that book truly existed? The author would be a kajillionaire.

It would be controversial indeed.
Oh, hey, I got it, Allie-bear. You should get your aunt a copy of How To Win Friends And Influence People.

Haha!
I've read Charlotte Church's autobiography Keep Smiling before, I liked it.. although it is a few years old now, she was pregnant with her first child when it was published.
