Kathryn, write the script. Annie, do the make-up. Now you just need some actors, a producer, a director, some grips, some camera operators, etcetera... Oh, yeah. You could totally do this.

Also the soundtrack would be awesome... It'd probably have Help Me by Nine Inch Nails and New Divide by Linkin Park

soundtracks are hard to peg because they have to be just right with the overall flow with a story I think...personally with a lot of my stuff or in general I like more instrumental background music to fit the scenes....good stuff. I like a lot of Apocalyptica.

I've like vampire films for a very long time and spent the summer holidays working my way through my collection of Hammer Dracula films with my son (I actually started writing this post during the summer holidays but got distracted and haven't managed to get back on the board since!).
I like the 1922 Nosferatu and have it on DVD. The vampire in that film has his fangs in the middle instead of the outside because he's supposed to resemble a rat rather than the usual bat.
I liked the television series of Buffy but not the film - not enough humour in the film.
My favourite version of Dracula is the BBC one from about 1975 - it's the truest version to the original book that I've seen. I got it on DVD last Christmas but haven't yet watched it.
I also have Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the d**ned. Such a shame that Aaliyah died so young.

Nice,Buffy was a great tv series...I wasn't a fan of the movie too much because I thought it was corny in a bad way...not like the series where it balanced out... I had to watch Nosferatu again for a class I'm taking,I forgot how much I liked it...good times.

How could I forget to mention True Blood?
We're currently part way through the series in the UK. My wife, son, and I are thoroughly enjoying it. Anyone else like it?

I've heard it was good though I haven't gotten around to watching it.... so...vampires are definitely the trend again, with True Blood and Twilight and all that being big now...wonder what the next trend will be...

Vampires will always be popular, I think, in some way or another, because they're "attractive". And the vampire will change with each new idea, grow and become popular all over again. Vampires are eternal.
Edward Cullen's still a sparkly, poofy-haired f*g, though.

I agree, they'll always be popular but really...it just got more intense in the last year or so... Definitely on board with Edward Cullen being a sparkly d-bag though...
