Wow! loving the carrier bags!! thanks for reposting! Just got in from seeing the panto tonight! Amazing show!! The same script as the nottingham version with like one added scene! we had really good seats (well close to the front!) got wet and nearly had a donot landing on my head!! but apart from that... Very VERY funny show, I thoiught Keavy was a lot more relaxed in this compared to the last panto! I Of course made an effort to go to the stage door after, Keavy had said she would come out and say hiQ only problem i had was with the weather, it was drizzling, but the stage door is partially undercover so we were pretty well covered didn't stop my hair looking a mess in the photos though. It just so happened to be press night tonight and they were having an aftershow press party thing, but Keavy popped out as promised with Paris before going back in. We had pictures and a quick chat, but didn't want to keep her too long! She was an absolute joy to see again, and i had an amazing time! Thanks Keavy! x I wanna go again already! I'm hoping to see Edele on the 17th of this month it would be nice to see Edele again.

I hope you did 'Cos she's soo nice, I gave a (Rather belated) Birthday card to her today with one for Edele will upload the pics as soon as I can I thought the seven Dwarfs were hillarious & brilliant & when I saw it on the 4th I actually met Sneezy & Dozy in the cafe before the 7:30 performance they were really nice & chatty & they both Keavy was really lovely & sweet (I couldn't agree more) Will do my very best to try to upload the pics tomorrow if I can Wasn't Keavy's singing just singing just gorgeous? & Sweep as Pavorotti was so sweet, Dame Donut & Muddles were my favourite comical characters ;D img706.imageshack.us/img706/6074/keavylynchoutsidefairfi.jpg

It's KeavEEEEEEE!!! SQUEEEE!!! *jumps up and down*. Okay, now that that's over...I'm hungry.
I live in the US and, unfortunately, haven't had the honor of seeing Keavy get her panto on. (If you read that wrong, that's completely your fault.)

Ah, the overacting is killing me! "You didn't meeean? You didn't meeean?" I love it, though. So, do they only pantomime fairytales that were turned into Disney films or what? I mean would they ever do something like 'Pippin', or does it have to be strictly Disney? Also, a pantomime is a supposed to be a production acted without words, hence the "mime" part of the name. It just bugs me when something is called something that it's not. Like calling Creationism a science... Pantomime: the art or genre of conveying a story by bodily movements onlyalso: an ancient Roman dramatic performance featuring a solo dancer and a narrative chorus. 2. any of various dramatic or dancing performances in which a story is told by expressive bodily or facial movements of the performers 3. a British theatrical entertainment of the Christmas season based on a nursery tale and featuring topical songs, tableaux, and dances 4. conveyance of a story by bodily or facial movements especially in drama or danceDefinition 3 should be stricken. I will never call it a pantomime.
