People who illegitimize Lindsay's work as an actress by claiming that mentioning her stage work is "grasping at straws". How, exactly? Last I checked, acting on the stage still counts as acting.

Acting is subjective,she either has really tough critics or people that think they're important just like to hear themselves talk. Either way,to play devils advocate here,actors always have good and bad moments,it's never consistent. It's not a personal fault on an individual,but it's just something that happens.
Myself for instance,I've been doing theater and acting since I was ten,does that make me good just because I've been trained? No. However,there are people that think otherwise. The same applies to Lindsay and the thing about it is this,opinions are like as$holes,everyone has one. Don't let it get to you.
My annoyance...people that base the way they cast on looks alone.

No. It was a comment somebody made on Facebook. At first they made a snarky comment about her going from B*witched to 5 seonds in a T.V. spot. I mentioned Lindsay also did stage work, and the comment "grasping at straws" was made. It has nothing to do eith her actual ability-which I can't determine as I haven't actually seen her act-, but the seeming implication that the work she has done doesn't count. I have the right to be angry. My feelings are valid. And it's illogical to come into a positive group meant for fans, and make those comments. I have my reasons, however absurd, for being annoyed at certain things, but I would never put her down like that. That sh-t don't fly.

I saw that. I'm sorry. And you're right you have the right to be angry,no one ever said otherwise and if implied sorry. I'm angry,seeing that.For me,as an aspiring professional actor,it hurts to see how people don't get what we do. As a whole. Lindsay,I have a great deal of respect for her,as an actress. What she does and what others like her do isn't easy. Directors know what they want,and its our job to essentially prove them wrong or right. It's a mess.
My statement still stands though,Adrienne's opinion is her own. Fan or not.

It's fine, Annie. You're fine. I got my rants out. Meli runs that page, and, as much as I would like to see her remove...that individual, that's up to her. I don't think you should be on there if you're not a fan, but that's just me. I get defensive and protective.
