Ok, I'm in a jam here...I've just added someone to my MySpace friends, someone who used to make fun of me from the time I moved to Arcadia until when we graduated...and the memories of those days in school keep haunting me...
Should I asked for an apology and forgive her?
~or~
Should I keep holding this 14-year grudge?

I'm "friends" (myspace/facebook) with a fair few people who wouldn't be caught dead talking to me as a person... I don't hold it against them since, well, the majority of people have changed in the past 4/5 years since school.
I think, if you really don't want to forgive and forget that you delete them & ignore any requests they make, because I highly doubt an apology will happen if they are asked to give one to you.

If someone I knew from high school wanted to add me on any of those social networking sites, I'd personally decline, since practically everyone picked on me, and I still hold a grudge. But that's just me. Maybe she is trying to apologize, or maybe she just wants to start it up again. She also might not realize she's done anything damaging, and won't understand why you would want an apology. You'll have to wait and see. Remember, there's always Delete and Block.

I don't know... I was bullied a lot up until... this year, my 2nd to last year of school. I can relate... it depends on who it is, like say, in my case, if the kids who used to throw rocks at me everyday on my way home from school wanted to add me, I'd decline. But if it was just someone who said a few things, I might talk to them and see what they have to say. She might want to apologize, or just get to know you (if she's had the decency to grow up since high school) If she acts like you guys were best friends, she's probably fake, and therefore not worth it. not much I can say that hasn't already been said, but just go with what you feel.

Most of the other kids have changed into decent people...but one of them never got the chance to... J.T. Smith died in a car accident a few months ago
