Hello everyone - long time for some. Name's Meli, and, well, I'm 21 from the Land Down Under. I was the one who got banned on the "Official" L*Boards for speaking my mind. Wanna know more? Just ask. I go on Lindsay's board most days and don't remember anything controversial (although I only joined in December). The nearest I've seen was when someone admitted to not liking the songs Lindsay had put on her myspace page. Was that you? I seem to remember the person was congratulated on his/her honesty - and quite right too - you can't be expected to like every song a singer or group performs. |

You know, that's something that happened in the past and it's best not to dig it up again.
I don't think it was Melissa, Mark. She was banned quite a long time ago, before you joined.

She did say we could ask if we wanted to know! Besides, Ashley is one of the administrators - it's only natural that she would want to know why Melissa was banned in case there's a problem on this board (although I think a pm would have been the way to ask). Melissa - I can only speak for myself, but I don't really care what happened in the past. For as long as you and I are both on this board I will treat you the way I want people to treat me. If you want me to know what happened, pm me. If you don't, it doesn't matter. |

i wouldnt think any different of her no matter what her answer was... she just said that she was the one that got kicked off the lindsay forum so I asked why... and melissa we are happy to have you hear!

I realize that. But, you have to understand, it was not a happy time. There's still some bitterness and I was worried that bringing it up again would start up another debate, as these things often do.
But, yeah, if she wants to answer that's fine.

Hi there, I'm new here and my name's Ivan. I noticed that SD and Sharon recently introduced themselves in the "hello" thread but I thought I would stick my greeting in here. A little about me? I'm an Aussie but I lived in the UK from 1993 to 2003 during which time I became fond of many British and Irish things including B*witched and particularly Keavy who I have a soft spot for  . I like all kinds of music and I'm not ashamed to say even late 90s pop music like B*witched. Recently I came back to Blighty and I am currently working in Cardiff (bleah). what did you do to get your self kick off of it? It was a basic disagreement between Jo and myself. I refrain from calling her what I think she should be called, but yeah. If someone breaks a rule, you gently ask them, in a PM, to not do it in future, right? Well, instead, but myself & Manuel (another member who did God knows what) got public warnings, and, well, neither of us were happy about it. So, he quit, and I protested. I got banned... The ban is still in place until, like, December 2012...? (I'll have to see if I'm right there) |
